Tap.It locations
Tap.It kiosks in the Eastern region.
In Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan, Tap.It kiosks stand in CelcomDigi (CD) stores, malls such as East Coast Mall, four IIUM listings at Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre in Kuantan, and SSM offices in Kuantan, Temerloh, Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu. Tap.It’s lists of 15 Oct 2026 name 56 Eastern-region locations at 53 addresses, all marked with SSM services: each offers business renewal, compound payment and SSM4U activation.
How many Tap.It locations are listed in the Eastern region?
Tap.It’s own kiosk list of 15 Oct 2026 names 56 locations in the Eastern region: Pahang 27, Terengganu 17 and Kelantan 12. All 56 are on Tap.It’s list of locations with SSM services.
These are listed locations, not a count of kiosks: Tap.It gives its whole network as more than 500 units throughout Malaysia. The 56 locations stand at 53 addresses. Four IIUM listings (Ground Floor 1 and 2, Level 2 and Level 7) share one address, Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre in Bandar Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, and appear as one entry.
Every location below keeps its name and address exactly as Tap.It lists it, grouped by state and by the town its address names, with a map search link. Opening hours are not listed: before you go, WhatsApp the Tap.It hotline on 03-2935 9359 to check that a location offers the SSM service you need.
All 56 Eastern region locations are on Tap.It’s SSM list, so every entry below carries the same plain ring.

Which SSM offices in the Eastern region have a Tap.It kiosk?
Tap.It is Safeguards KioskMedia’s self-service kiosk network, and SSM’s Knowledge Hub says in its own words: “SSM has appointed Safeguards Kioskmedia (M) Sdn Bhd as business renewal agent via Kiosk Tap.It.” SSM also lists “Kiosk Tap.it at any SSM Office or selected stores” as a place to renew a business. In the Eastern region, 4 listed locations are SSM’s own offices and counters, in Kuantan, Temerloh, Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu; each is also in its town’s list below.
At a Tap.It kiosk listed with SSM services, Safeguards KioskMedia offers business renewal, SSM compound payment and SSM4U activation. The fees, and which compounds are paid where, are on SSM services at Tap.It kiosks.

What does SSM4U activation let you do?
Activating your SSM4U account opens SSM’s core online services, such as EzBiz, where a business owner can renew a registration online. Without activation, SSM’s manual says a user reaches only the non-core services, such as e-Search, e-Compound and e-Query. All SSM customers are required to register as SSM4U users, as “General users” or “Verified users”.
Local users holding a MyKAD, MyPR, MyKAS or MyTentera card can activate at the nearest SSM counter or via the Tap.it Kiosk, with the card and a thumbprint. Users with a Foreigner National ID activate online with their documents, and SSM says it processes those within three working days. SSM4U and the other terms are explained in the glossary.

Questions people ask are on the FAQ; terms such as ROB and SSM4U are in the glossary; guides on SSM records and kiosk services are on Insights.
