How can an organisation get SSM company information?
SAFEDATA-SSM is the service portal Safeguards KioskMedia (M) Sdn. Bhd. developed for the public to purchase SSM documents electronically, with the documents sourced directly from SSM. In SAFEDATA-SSM's own words, the company was “appointed by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) - Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) as its Technology and Service Provider for the SAFEDATA-SSM Services” (SAFEDATA-SSM, About Us).
For organisations, SAFEDATA-SSM lists three products: an API Catalog, SAFEDATA-SSM Express, for a fast response, and SAFEDATA-SSM Custom. It gives access to SSM's records as SSM holds them; it does not rate companies or give advice, and deciding what a record means stays with the organisation.
Which SSM documents does SAFEDATA-SSM sell?
SAFEDATA-SSM sells company and business profiles, documents and forms images, company and business certificates, company particulars, and company financial history and comparison, from RM13.24 for a Company Profile. On safedata-ssm.com the products are grouped into business, company, audit firm, LLP documents, company listing, CSID (Company Secretary Information Data) and personal involvement. Each listed price is SSM's own fee plus the RM3.00 service fee and 8% SST on that fee:
